The June / July 2010 issue of Sophisticates Black Hair Magazine has a mention of Bonika Shears.
"I insisted that the magazine mention my favorite shears in the article" said hair artist celebrity Derek J about the article on page 76 and 77. Derek J is featured recreating the hair of the winner of the Sophisticates Black Hair Reader Makeover. Not only is Derek using his Bonika Shears in the magazine photo but Derek mentions his Bonika Shears in creating a slide-cut technique.
