Attention shear sharpeners. All our waterstones for sharpening shears are coming from Japan. Because of the change in the dollar verses the yen, we have price increases starting January 1. If any items are ordered before January 1, you can get the old prices. I'm putting the new prices on the www.beautystoreworld.com website today, but if you write "Old Prices" in the comment section when you order, we will change to the old prices.
Most of the Shaptons are out of stock, but are on their way. Only the 1500 grit is in stock. The Kitayama 1000/4000 grit is my favorite stone at present and is in stock. The other stones are special ordered and come in quickly from the importer.
For those non-sharpeners who read this blog. Waterstones are used to create the very smooth inner edge on your shears that make them so smooth and quiet.
